e have exciting news! On Jan. 1, we
moved the BlueandGold.com web-
site from the Rivals network, where it
has been hosted for over seven years, to
On3 — a new network started by Shan-
non Terry, the "Steve Jobs" of college
sports networks.
Terry took over a bankrupt Rivals in
2001 and built it into the premier col-
lege sports network in the business be-
fore selling it to Yahoo in 2007. Three
years later, he left the corporate culture
at Yahoo and started 247Sports, eventu-
ally selling it to CBS Sports and helping
the network become the new leader of
the industry, far surpassing Rivals in
revenue, innovation and technology.
With a vision for an even better and
different college sports network, Terry
left CBS Sports last August and started
On3. This will be his "iPhone," and we
wanted to be part of it.
