TRACKING THE PACK MARCH/APRIL 2022 ■ 17 PACK PERFORMERS Von Douglas, Track & Field The graduate student from Atlanta has been one of the premier long jumpers in the NCAA throughout the indoor season. His jump of 26- 2.25 at the Bob Pollock Meet in Clemson, S.C., was the second longest in school history, and also the second longest in the country this winter. Douglas was named the ACC Field Performer of the Week for that effort, plus he was selected as one of three winners of NC State athletics' monthly Heart of the Pack in January. J.T. Jarrett, Baseball The only holdover from last year's College World Series lineup to play the same position he did a year ago, the senior second baseman from Greensboro, N.C., got off to a torrid start while helping NC State win its first four games. He was 10 for 15 at the plate (.667 batting average) with three doubles and a homer while driving in seven runs and scoring four times. Jarrett has been a starter for NC State since he was a freshman in 2018, and last year he batted .251 with a homer and 11 doubles for the team that reached Omaha. Kaylee Lambrecht, Softball The Wolfpack softball team started the season 10-1 — matching the best start in program his- tory — and the sophomore second baseman from Jacksonville, Fla., has played a major role at the plate in the team's success. Lambrecht batted .500 in that stretch with three homers, tied for second most on the squad, and had a team-best 11 runs batted in. She also tied for most runs scored (10) and stolen bases (three). Priska Nugroho, Tennis Since arriving for the spring semester, the Ja- karta, Indonesia, native has twice been named ACC Freshman of the Week. She has accumulated an 8-2 singles record in dual action, all of her matches at either singles No. 2 or 3. Nugroho helped NC State knock off a pair of teams that were ranked No. 3 nationally at the time, winning her singles matches against Georgia and Texas, the latter the defending national team champion. She has also teamed up with senior Sara Nayar to go 9-1 in dual doubles. Nugroho won the 2020 Australian Open Ju- niors doubles title. Home is where the howl is.
