C O M Marcus Allen (Played at Penn State from 2011- 14), LB, Pittsburgh Steelers: The former Nittany Lion safety found himself in hot water when he drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the Steelers' win over Carolina in Week 15. The pen- alty, on fourth-and-27, gave the Panthers a first down and eventually a field goal, but Pittsburgh held on for a 24-16 victory. Allen played in each of the Steelers' first 14 games, making 10 tackles. Adrian Amos (2011-14), S, Green Bay Packers: In his eighth year in the NFL, Amos had 77 tackles through 14 games for the Packers, ranking third on the team. Troy Apke (2014-17), S, Washington Com- manders: Relegated to the Commanders' practice squad this year, Apke was released on Nov. 26. Saquon Barkley (2015-17), RB, New York Gi- ants: Barkley was slowed by a shoulder injury at midseason, but he still ranked fourth in the league in rushing with 1,170 yards through 14 games. He was also tied for the team lead with 62 receptions, totaling 294 yards as a pass catcher. On Dec. 21, Barkley was named to the Pro Bowl for the first time since his rookie season. Ryan Bates (2015-19), TE, Buffalo Bills: Starting as a right guard throughout the season for Buf- falo, Bates got nicked in December when he was rolled up on by a teammate's block. The ankle sprain forced him out of action against Miami. Nick Bowers (2015-19), TE, Cincinnati Bengals: The former PSU tight end continues to hold a spot on the Bengals' practice squad. Jaquan Brisker (2019-21), S, Chicago Bears: Brisker has been one of the league's top defen- sive rookies but was responsible for a Jalen Hurts touchdown in Philadelphia's 25-20 win over the Bears in Week 15 when he missed an assignment late in the first half. Brisker was fourth on the team in tackles with 78 heading into a Week 16 matchup against Buffalo. Cam Brown (2016-19), LB, New York Giants: Brown has seen action on every special teams unit for the Giants in his third season in the NFL. Jason Cabinda (2014-17), FB, Detroit Lions: Returning from an ankle injury in November, Cabinda has appeared in every game since Week 10 on special teams and at fullback. Tariq Castro-Fields (2017-21), CB, Washington Commanders: The former Penn State cornerback is on the injured reserve list. Dan Chisena (2015, 2018-19), WR, Minnesota Vikings: Chisena is on the Vikings' practice squad. He hasn't seen game action since Week 9. Jahan Dotson (2019-2021), WR, Washington Commanders: Dotson has been coming on strong since missing midseason games against Tennes- see, Chicago and Green Bay due to a hamstring injury. He had caught 23 passes for 338 yards heading into a Week 16 game against San Fran- cisco and was leading the Commanders with 6 Rookie Jahan Dotson had a team-leading 6 touchdown catches in the Washington Commanders' first 14 games this season.
