Ryan Bates (2015-18), OL, Buffalo Bills: Bates has started all three games and played almost every snap while helping protect quarterback Josh Allen. The Bills are second in the league in total offense after three weeks, averaging 441.3 yards per game. Nick Bowers (2015-19), TE, Cincinnati Bengals: Bowers is on the team's practice squad. He was not elevated to the active roster during the first three weeks. Jaquan Brisker (2019-21), S, Chicago Bears: Brisker is off to a hot start at the pro level. He has started his first three games and has yet to come off the field at his safety spot. He has 20 tackles (1 for loss) and a fumble recovery as Chicago sits at 2-1. Cam Brown (2016-19), LB, New York Giants: Brown is a core part of New York's special teams units. But, he has yet to see any time on defense through three weeks. He has 1 tackle so far. Jason Cabinda (2014-17), FB, Detroit Lions: Cabi- nda is on the Lions' physically unable to perform list due to an ankle injury. Tariq Castro-Fields (2017-21), CB, Washington Commanders: Castro-Fields was inactive during the first two weeks of his NFL career. However, in a Week 3 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, he played 6 defensive snaps and 3 on special teams but re- corded no stats. Dan Chisena (2015, 2018-19), WR, Minnesota Vikings: Chisena is on the Vikings' practice squad. He was not elevated to the active roster during the first three weeks. Arnold Ebiketie (2021), DE, Atlanta Falcons: Ebiketie is being used on about half of the Fal- cons' defensive snaps and also on special teams. He played a season-high 41 snaps and recorded a tackle in a Week 3 victory at Seattle. He has 6 tackles (1 for loss) and a quarterback hurry to date. Pat Freiermuth (2018-20), TE, Pittsburgh Steel- ers: Freiermuth has logged 149 snaps, which is the most of any Steelers tight end. He was targeted late in the team's Week 3 loss at Cleveland, finish- ing with 5 catches for 75 yards. On the season, he's logged 11 receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown. Will Fries (2016-20), OL, Indianapolis Colts: Fries has only been used on special teams so far. He played 5 snaps in Week 1 and 4 in Week 3. Mike Gesicki (2014-17), TE, Miami Dolphins: Gesicki is trying to fit in with Miami's new offense, but it doesn't feature him often. His biggest game so far came against Baltimore in Week 2 when he caught 4 passes for 41 yards and a touchdown. Blake Gillikin (2016-19), P, New Orleans Saints: Gillikin averaged 48.4 yards on 17 attempts through three weeks, with a league-leading 7 fair catches. Kevin Givens (2016-18), DT, San Francisco 49ers: Givens had 4 tackles during a Week 2 win over Se- attle and has totaled 7 overall. Chris Godwin (2014-16), WR, Tampa Bay Buc- caneers: Godwin has missed the past two weeks due to a hamstring injury. He did overcome a train- ing camp setback to play in the opener, catching 3 passes for 35 yards in a win over Dallas. Robbie Gould (2001-04), K, San Francisco 49ers: Gould continues chugging along at age 39. He has been perfect on 5 extra point attempts this year and is 4 of 5 in the field goal department. The miss was blocked. Yetur Gross-Matos (2017-19), DE, Carolina Pan- thers: Gross-Matos has played 70 percent of Caro- lina's defensive snaps through three weeks. He has 7 tackles to date. Grant Haley (2014-17), S, Los Angeles Rams: Haley is on the Rams' practice squad. He was not elevated to the active roster during the first three weeks. KJ Hamler (2018-20), WR, Denver Broncos: Ham- ler has been active for two of Denver's first three games. However, he has yet to record a catch and played only 41 percent of the Broncos' snaps in Week 3. Jesse James (2012-14), TE, Cleveland Browns: James landed on the team's injured reserve list after Week 2 due to a bicep problem. Prior to that, he played 18 snaps on offense and 11 on special teams but recorded no stats. He is eligible to return later this season. Austin Johnson (2012-15), DT, Los Angeles Char- gers: Johnson has played about half of the Chargers' defensive snaps. He batted down 1 pass through three weeks and also has 4 tackles. DaQuan Jones (2010-13), DL, Buffalo Bills: Jones has 7 tackles and 1 quarterback hit through three weeks. He is playing about 65 percent of the Bills' defensive snaps. John Lovett (2021), RB, Carolina Panthers: Lovett is on the Panthers' practice squad. He was not el- evated to the active roster during the first three weeks. Jesse Luketa (2018-21), LB, Arizona Cardinals: Luketa is on the Cardinals' practice squad. He was not elevated to the active roster during the first three weeks. Connor McGovern (2016-18), OL, Dallas Cow- boys: McGovern started Dallas' opener but went down after 7 snaps with an ankle injury. He has been inactive ever since. His return timeline is not immediately clear. Trace McSorley (2014-18), QB, Arizona Cardinals: McSorley is Kyler Murray's backup. He did not play in either of the past two weeks but was briefly inserted during a Week 1 loss to Kansas City. He completed 2 of 4 passes for 12 yards and also ran 3 times for 20 yards. Carl Nassib (2011-15), DE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Nassib has a limited role in Tampa Bay. He's played 20 defensive snaps and recorded only 1 tackle. Amani Oruwariye (2014-18), CB, Detroit Lions: Oruwariye has been active for two of the Lions' three games. He has 13 tackles (1 for loss) and a pass breakup so far. Odafe Oweh (2018-20), DE, Baltimore Ravens: Oweh continues to grow as a pass rusher in his sec- ond pro season. He has played roughly 80 percent of Baltimore's defensive snaps and totaled 10 stops, one of which resulted in a loss. Micah Parsons (2018-19), LB, Dallas Cowboys: Parsons played despite dealing with an illness in Week 3. He had just 1 tackle in a 23-16 win over New York but created havoc and problems for the Giants in numerous ways that did not make the stat sheet. Through three weeks, he has 10 tackles (4 for loss) and 9 quarterback hits. John Reid (2015-19), CB, Seattle Seahawks: Reid is eligible to return in Week 5 after landing on the injury reserve list with a groin problem in August. Allen Robinson II (2011-13), WR, Los Angeles Rams: Robinson has 7 catches for 88 yards and a touchdown. He's played 90 percent of the team's offensive snaps to date. Miles Sanders (2016-18), RB, Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles like to rotate their running backs, and Sanders has been used on about half of their offen- sive plays. He has rushed 45 times for 222 yards and a touchdown through three weeks and also caught 6 passes for 13 yards. Nick Scott (2014-18), S, Los Angeles Rams: Scott is used extensively in the LA defense. He has played about 90 percent of the team's defensive snaps, making 17 tackles and also forcing a fumble during a Week 1 loss to Buffalo. Brandon Smith (2019-21), LB, Carolina Panthers: Smith has been active for two of his first three NFL games but has not yet earned a snap on defense. He is playing special teams, though, and has been seen 30 snaps. Donovan Smith (2011-14), OT, Tampa Bay Bucca- neers: Smith was inactive in Weeks 2 and 3 with an elbow injury. He played just 23 snaps at left tackle in Week 1 before being hurt. Jordan Stout (2019-21), P, Baltimore Ravens: Stout is the Ravens' starting punter. He's booted the ball 11 times for an average of 45 yards. Derrick Tangelo (2021), DT, Atlanta Falcons: Tan- gelo is on the Falcons' practice squad. He has not been elevated to the active roster through three weeks. Shaka Toney (2016-20), DE, Washington Com- manders: Toney played a season-high 32 snaps on defense in the Commanders' Week 3 loss to Phila- delphia. Prior to that, he was mostly playing special teams. He has 4 tackles (1 for loss) so far.
