As for streaks finishing .500 or better, there have been two skeins of 22 seasons each: 1934 to 1955, and 1985 to 2006. Another such streak, for 19 years, went from 1964, the start of Parseghian's tenure, through 1982. RECORDS VS. OPPONENTS In the first 500 games at the Stadium, Notre Dame has wel- comed 87 different opponents, all but a handful still playing major college football today. The Irish have a winning record against 73 of them. And 48 of them have never left the field tasting victory over the Irish. And there are just seven schools that hold an advantage over Notre Dame, five of which have a 1-0 margin: Cincinnati, Connecticut, Georgia, Marshall and Tulsa. Ohio State went to 2-1 all-time with its last-second victory on Sept. 23. And the opponent with the best all-time record in Notre Dame Stadium? It's Missouri at 2-0, with victories over the Irish in 1972 (30-26) and 1978 (3-0).
