C O M 3 Penn State seniors predicted to be chosen in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, per Jaime Eisner of The Draft Network. Taking into ac- count the first two weeks of the col- lege season, Eisner had quarterback Drew Allar going 15th overall to the Pittsburgh Steelers, defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton 27th to the Detroit Li- ons and running back Nicholas Single- ton 28th to the Kansas City Chiefs. 5 Consecutive seasons in which the Penn State football team has posted at least one shutout victory. The Nittany Lions extended their streak with a 34-0 win over Florida Interna- tional on Sept. 6. No other team in the country has had at least one shutout every year since 2021. The last time PSU posted shutouts in five consecu- tive seasons was from 1972-76. Penn State Shutouts Since 2021 Date Opponent Score Oct. 2, 2021 Indiana 24-0 Nov. 20, 2021 Rutgers 28-0 Nov. 12, 2022 Maryland 30-0 Sept. 23, 2023 Iowa 31-0 Oct. 14, 2023 Massachusetts 63-0 Nov. 24, 2023 Michigan State 42-0 Sept. 21, 2024 Kent State 56-0 Sept. 6, 2025 Florida International 34-0 7 Catches for 76 receiving yards by former Penn State All-American Tyler Warren in his NFL debut with the Indianapolis Colts. Contributing to a 33-8 victory over Miami on Sept. 7, Warren set a league record for most catches by a rookie tight end in his first game — a mark that was tied that same day by Cleveland's Harold Fannin Jr. Colts receiver Michael Pittman said "it could have been even worse" for the Dol- phins if Warren had received more than the 9 targets he saw in his debut. "We could spam him with targets," Pittman said. "He could have 200 yards with the way he plays." 1 5 Consecutive seasons in which the Penn State women's soccer team has posted a winning nonconfer- ence record. The ninth-ranked Nit- tany Lions went 4-2-1 in this year's nonleague slate, with their only losses coming on the road to a pair of top-10 opponents —No. 4 Duke (3-2, Aug. 14) and No. 8 Virginia (1-0, Sept. 4). 9 3 - 0 The combined score of Penn State's two football games against Florida International. Prior to this year's shutout victory, the Nittany Lions blanked FIU, 59-0, in 2007, putting a damper on Mario Cristobal's first game as a college head coach. 104 Coaching victo- ries for JAMES FRANKLIN in 12 seasons at Penn State. Franklin im- proved his record to 104-42 when the Nittany Lions defeated Villanova, 52-6, on Sept. 13. The veteran head coach goes into Penn State's game against Oregon on Sept. 27 tied with Rip Engle for second place on PSU's all-time coaching victories list. Engle went 104-48-4 from 1950-65. Franklin averaged 9.3 wins per year in his first 11 seasons with the program. At that rate, he would have to stick around Penn State till 2058 to catch Joe Paterno for the top spot on PSU's career coach- ing victories list. Paterno went 409- 136-3 from 1966-2011. 3,000-plus Career rushing yards by senior running backs Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen through the first three games of Penn State's season. Both players eclipsed the 3,000-yard mark in the Nittany Lions' win over FIU. Heading into the Big Ten opener against Oregon, Singleton has 3,091 career yards on 540 carries, while Allen has 3,150 on 593 attempts. $ 1 8 6 m i l l i o n Value of the four-year contract that former Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons signed with the Green Bay Packers after being traded from Dallas just ahead of the 2025 season.
