TRACKING THE PACK NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2025 ■ 15 PACK PERFORMERS CJ Bailey, Football NC State has hit a rough patch, but Bai- ley's been undeterred. Through the Wolf- pack's first eight games, the sophomore quarterback from Miami ranked third in the ACC with an average of 258.9 passing yards per game and fourth with a 70.2 percent completion rate. In addition, he was fifth in total offense with an average of 271.8 yards per game, and his 17 touchdown passes were tied for the league lead. In a tough 53-34 loss at Pitt on Oct. 25, the offense kept fighting back behind Bailey. He threw for 225 yards and 3 touchdowns while adding another 39 yards on the ground. Logan Erb, Men's Soccer Erb has been one of the keys to NC State's outstanding 2025 season. Heading into the third-ranked Wolfpack's regular-season finale against visiting Syracuse on Oct. 31, the senior from Houston had allowed op- ponents to find the net just three times for a nation-leading goals-against average of .211. His .917 save percentage was second nationally and first in the ACC. Erb, who transferred from San Diego State ahead of the 2024 season, has been part of a stalwart defensive effort by the Pack. Through 15 games, the team had allowed only 3 goals. To put that in context, the next-closest ACC team was North Carolina with 9 goals allowed. Eneli Jefimova, Women's Swimming Jefimova, a freshman from Sillamae, Es- tonia, got her American collegiate career off to a strong start by winning the 100-yard breaststroke race at The Dual Meet Tourna- ment on Oct. 17-18 at Georgia Tech, finish- ing in 57.67 seconds versus the host team. Her time at the season-opening event was the second-fastest in program history, and she followed it by capturing first place in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke races and contributing to victorious showings in the 200- and 400-yard medley relays. Jefimova arrives at NC State as a two- time Olympian, having represented her homeland at the Tokyo Games in 2021 and in Paris three years later. Kaii Winkler, Men's Swimming Winkler was named the ACC Male Swim- mer of the Week after helping NC State fin- ish first at The Dual Meet Tournament on Oct. 17-18 at Georgia Tech. The sophomore from Miami finished the 100-yard freestyle race in 41.21 seconds against Florida State in the tournament's semifinal round. It was the best time in the nation to that point in the season and the third-fastest time in NC State history. Winkler also won the 100 freestyle against Georgia in the final, finishing in 41.23, and he was part of the first-place 400-yard freestyle relay team that finished in 2:49.11 versus the Bulldogs.
