8 ■ THE WOLFPACKER ■ WOLFPACK CLUB NEWS Where are you from? Southern California. Where did you go to school? The Univer- sity of Oregon. I studied business administra- tion and concentrated in sports business. What are your current responsibilities at the Wolfpack Club? I primarily work with our Wolfpack Club members that support our an- nual scholarship fund. Most of the members I work with reside in southwest Wake County, as well as southwest North Carolina — places like Charlotte, Southern Pines, Hickory, Ashe- ville, and everywhere in between. I enjoy any opportunity to bring NC State to them and offer my assistance in any way I can. In addi- tion to my direct Wolfpack Club responsibili- ties, I'm also the liaison for men's soccer and the cheerleading program. What did you do before joining the Wolf- pack Club? I graduated from the University of Oregon in March 2024. I had a job with the Duck Athletic Fund that I finished in June of that year. They allowed me to stay on and get more experience with their team after I officially graduated. Shortly after, I briefly worked with my family's irrigation company that's based in California before moving out here in late July and started with the Wolf- pack Club in August 2024. What's your favorite part of working at the Wolfpack Club? The people here are awesome, whether that's co-workers or the donors I work with. Moving across the coun- try can be daunting, not knowing anyone, but everyone from colleagues and members that I've worked with have been incredibly welcoming. What are your hobbies? I'm a big basket- ball fan, and play and watch it, while also playing golf. I also enjoy working out and traveling. I'm a big L.A. sports fan being from Southern California, but I consider myself a newer Carolina Hurricanes fan as well. It's a fun environment to be a part of. What's your favorite TV show? "The Simp- sons" or "Breaking Bad." What's your favorite movie? Anything with a plot twist at the end, but the "Knives Out" movies are pretty good. What's your favorite musical artist? Ander- son .Paak. What's your favorite restaurant? Being from California, it's hard not to say In-N-Out Burger, but Scratch Kitchen in Cary is really good. What's your favorite NC State memory? Working with the soccer team this year and watching the season they've gone through has been really exciting. They had a hot start, were ranked No. 1 at one point, set the all- time attendance record against UNC this sea- son. I was there for the selection show and watched their tremendous run to the College Cup. It's really been a blast. It's been fun advocating for and promoting the program during one of its best years ever.
