He figured it out. Campbell may have been the youngest head coach in the FBS when Toledo promoted him in Decem- ber 2011 after he previously served as the Rockets' offensive coordinator, but he won 10 of his first 14 games and went on to post a 35-15 record in four full seasons. That performance led to Campbell's second head coaching job, this one at a Power Five school.
