football recruiting ROUNDUP Recruiting Notes • The Irish coaching staff has picked up its recruiting efforts with Carrboro, N.C., 247Composite (a compilation of the major recruiting sites) three-star running back Trai Sharp. The 5-9, 180-pound class of 2015 ball carrier has interest in Notre Dame and would like to visit for a game before the season's end. Sharp is ranked as the No. 413 prospect in the nation, the No. 43 running back in the country and the No. 19 recruit in North Carolina. • Cincinnati 247Composite four-star defensive tackle Simeon Lane has seen an increased interest from Notre Dame recently. The 6-1, 290-pound 2015 recruit holds an early offer from Illinois, but calls Notre Dame "one of his favorite schools." Look for him to visit South Bend for a game later this season. Lane is listed as the No. 298 player in the country, the No. 22 defensive tackle in the nation and the No. 15 prospect in Ohio. • Harrisburg, Pa., class of 2015 running back Andre Rob- Notre Dame has intensified its efforts with class of 2015 running back Trai Sharp, who inson visited South Bend July 31 and was blown away by would like to travel to South Bend for a game the trip.
