"These changes will allow cases to be heard more quickly and efficiently with fewer burdens on the individual committee members." The entire Committee on Infractions will meet at least twice annually to review cases across panels and check for consistency in how the guidelines are applied. Student-athlete alumni are encouraged to come back to Charlottesville to celebrate the Homecomings' weekend with former teammates and friends. This year, the Reunion weekend will include two highlight events. The 40 Years of Women in Sports Dinner Celebration on Friday, Oct. 25 and the Football Game and Signing Day Party Tailgate on Saturday, Oct. 26. The 40 Years of Women in Sports Dinner Celebration will recognize the milestones women have achieved over the past four decades in Athletics. With a special focus on the University of Virginia's female student-athlete population, the event is designed to celebrate accomplishments and engage alumni. Debbie Antonelli, one of the nation's most esteemed basketball analysts, will emcee the event that will also feature a selection of Virginia's very own greats such as Val Ackerman and Jane Miller. By signing up for the football game you get admission into our Signing Day Tailgate, which features complimentary admission for those athletes who have pledged or donated to the Virginia Athletics Foundation.
