VAF Staffing Updates Lo Davis has been promoted to associate director. Davis joined the Virginia Athletics Foundation in January 2010 and works with donors in Lynchburg, Martinsville, Danville, Fredericksburg, Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., in state, and out-of-state areas including Texas, Michigan, Arizona and Maryland. In addition, he works closely with the baseball and men's lacrosse programs. Michael Speight has been promoted to assistant director, working with donors in Richmond, Virginia Beach, Washington, D.C., and Raleigh/Durham, N.C. Additionally, he works with the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in the assignment of all priority seating and parking for football and men's basketball. Margaret Fisher, a member of the VAF team since April 2013, has been promoted to stewardship and campaign manager. Her responsibilities include planning and implementing all aspects of stewardship and annual campaign communication for the Foundation. After 11 years as a development director for the Foundation, Ryan White has accepted the position of senior associate athletics director for development for the Ohio Bobcats Club. He will lead the Bobcats athletics fundraising efforts. White began his tenure as assistant director for the VAF before being elevated to the role of an associate director in 2009. During his time in Charlottesville, White was involved in all aspects of the Foundation's fundraising efforts including the annual fund, endowment and capital gifts. Elizabeth Harrell has accepted the position of special events/communication manager with the Richmond Animal League in Richmond, Va. She interned with the athletics department's promotions and marketing office as an undergraduate at the University of Virginia and joined the Foundation in April 2006 as the suites and events coordinator. She was promoted to stewardship and campaign manager in February 2011. Dillon Boggs, who joined the VAF as an annual giving assistant in September 2012, accepted the position of assistant director of development with the Hurricane Club at the University of Miami in August. While at the Foundation, he worked closely with the membership and benefits program, student-athlete thank-a-thons and the I Give 110% initiative.
