The University of Notre Dame's
endowment announced Oct. 1 by
the school, an increase of 12 percent from last year. University vice
president Scott Malpass said the endowment pool has grown from
$2.9 billion 10 years ago. Notre Dame had ranked in the top 10 last
year, according to U.S. News & World Report, but is still well behind
Harvard's standard of more than $30 billion.
