Keeping It Simple
An empty Notre Dame Stadium provides a stark contrast to Jerry
Jones' $1.3 billion behemoth AT&T Stadium in Dallas, where the
Irish played host to Arizona State Oct. 5. The centerpiece of the
"Jerry World" is its 2,100-inch high definition video board, which
is a little longer than a standard basketball court. The video board
debate has loomed large at Notre Dame in recent years with one
side wanting the luxury of giant replays and the other not wanting
to taint the classic simplicity of the 83-year-old landmark.
