After locking up the nation's most dangerous scorer in a 1‑0 win over No. 1 North Carolina as a midfielder, Roccaro shifted to forward and tallied four goals and two assists in her next two games. She picked up her first career hat trick in a 5‑0 win over Maryland, and then added a goal and two assists to help the Irish finish September with a win over Pitt. Erin Boxberger — Rowing The latest to join Notre Dame's list of gold medalists, Boxberger claimed her prize in Austria at the Under-23 World Championships this summer. She was a part of the American W8+ boat that beat out a long list of international competitors to claim gold. Senior Molly Bruggeman (USA) and sophomore Ailish Sheehan (Ireland) also made the trip to Austria this summer. They'll be back in the water for Notre Dame for the famed Head of the Charles Regatta Oct. 24. Quentin Monaghan — Tennis The sophomore won the first ITA All-American qualifying match of his career at the end of September. He defeated Texas' Nick Naumann in straight sets during the fall tournament in Tulsa, Okla. Monaghan is now 9-4 in his young Irish career with seven of those wins coming in straight-set victories. He was joined by senior Greg Andrews in the ITA tournament this fall. Brock Sheahan — Hockey The Irish add a familiar face to their bench this season with new volunteer assistant coach Brock Sheahan, who played for Notre Dame from 2004‑08 before a five-year professional career that spanned three countries. The Canada native played in 161 games during his college career as a defensive-minded defenseman, and helped the Irish to their first CCHA title in 2007 and a Frozen Four appearance in 2008.
