and he ranked first on
the team in tackles for
loss (four) and second
in total stops (36).

years old, his grandfather nicknamed
him "Hit and Run" because he had a
habit of intentionally bumping into the
people he passed in the hall, or mostly
anywhere else for that matter.
It was around that time that Cal-

about 10 miles east of his family's home
