The Irish remain in great shape for the 6-4, 230-pound recruit, and his relationship with Notre Dame wide receivers coach Mike Denbrock is a major reason for that. 247Sports ranks Luatua as the No. 119 overall player in the country, the No. 2 tight end in the nation and the No. 10 player in California. • Denbrock was in California to see Long Beach (Calif.) Poly fivestar safety John "JuJu" Smith during the bye week, and it looks like the Irish are now firmly in his top two. Ohio State, Penn State and Notre Dame have been named the favorite at one point or another by Holley. Per the 247Sports rankings, Holley is the No. 24 overall recruit in the country, the No. 4 defensive tackle in the nation and the No. 1 prospect in New York. — Tom Loy Follow @TomLoy247 on Twitter.
