stanford game notes By Dan Murphy and andrew owens Irish Seniors Are Postseason Snowbirds Notre Dame's senior class has a short wish list for its postseason options. They'd like another chance to end their college careers on a high note, and they'd like to do it without having to play in the snow. Head coach Brian Kelly said a week ago that he'd let his outgoing group of players have a say in deciding what bowl option the Irish choose. A loss to Stanford didn't alter Kelly's plans to hear from his upperclassmen before making a decision. The coaching staff planned to meet with its seniors Dec. 5 to discuss those options after Kelly returned to campus from his annual recruiting stops on the West Coast. "Whatever one we choose to play in is another game, another chance to get a win — our last game in a Notre Dame uniform," senior wide receiver TJ Jones said when asked about where he'd like to play. "Definitely not to play somewhere where it's snowing. Other than that we'll go wherever." Senior wide receiver TJ Jones, who led the team in catches against Stanford with six and snared his eighth touchdown in the last nine games, said he prefers a bowl destination in a warm climate. photo by bill panzica Red Zone EffIciency (Inside 20-Yard Line) No Poss.
