football recruiting the experience. Come National Signing Day, expect Holley to sign with Penn State or Notre Dame. WR Michiah Quick 6-0, 170, Fresno, Calif. (Central East) 247Sports Ranking: Four-star prospect, No. 6 player in California, No. 5 wide receiver in the country and No. 49 overall recruit in the nation. The Breakdown: Notre Dame is in a head-tohead battle with Oklahoma for the West Coast standout. Quick has multiple ties to the Sooners, with a few of his former teammates signing with Oklahoma over the past few years. However, he's also very close friends with current Irish targets John "JuJu" Smith and Tyler Luatua. The potential of all three signing with Notre Dame has caught Quick's eye. LB Nyles Morgan 6-2, 230, Crete, Ill. (Crete-Monee) 247Sports Ranking: Four-star prospect, No. 2 player in Illinois, No. 4 linebacker in the country and No. 56 overall recruit in the nation. The Breakdown: For much of his recruitment, Morgan looked to be bound for the SEC with either Ole Miss or Vanderbilt being the likely destination. However, the situation has slowly started to sway in Notre Dame's favor over the past two months, and the Irish have an excellent chance to land him. Immediate playing time is available for the four-star prospect and he could play close to home. Another factor working in favor of the Irish is that his parents prefer that he sign with Notre Dame. TE Tyler Luatua 6-4, 230, La Mirada, Calif. (La Mirada) 247Sports Ranking: Four-star prospect, No. 10 prospect in California, No. 2 tight end in the country and No. 119 overall recruit in the nation. The Breakdown: The fourstar recruit has named Alabama and Notre Dame as his top two schools, but it would be a major shock if he didn't end up singing with the Fighting Irish. Look for him to pledge his services to Notre Dame before the end of December, which will give him a chance to recruit the other top targets in the state of California. ✦ Get the latest recruiting news on your smart phone!
