irish in the pros said. "I've been trying to get my feet wet a little bit. It feels good the past three weeks to go out there and show I can go. "Basically I'm taking it one day at a time. … I just show up and go to work and do what I'm told." Lewis-Moore is grateful to the Ravens organization for showing faith in him. He said the defensive veterans — specifically ninth-year defensive end Chris Canty — have been especially supportive while he adjusted to NFL life during the rehabilitation. "It's been a very good experience," Lewis-Moore said. "Everyone here is awesome. It's a classy organization with a lot of people I speak really high of all the way up from the president to the coaching staff. It's a great organization, and I'm happy to be a part of it. It's a great place. "The Ravens drafted me, and I'm really blessed with the opportunity that they gave to me before I came back from injury." Lewis-Moore said he thinks about Notre Dame's 12-0 regular season "all the time" and fondly remembers his experiences with teammates and coaches. "It was a great run," he said. "Great times, great friends and a lot of fun. Even though the championship game didn't go the way we wanted it to, that doesn't take away the fact that we had a real special season." Lewis-Moore remains active on Twitter and often asks for updates from followers on how the Irish are doing on Saturdays, traditionally a day of travel and meetings for NFL squads. "I haven't talked to the [current] players too much," he said. "I catch Notre Dame when I can, but I can't catch a lot of the games. I catch the end of most games." Lewis-Moore said it is unlikely he will see any game action this season, but he plans to continue making strides in his new environment.
