He knows the offense, and head coach Brian Kelly said the wide receivers coach might end up calling the offensive plays. Advantage: Notre Dame Intangibles For Kelly, the main challenge will be motivating the team to play a mediocre Scarlet Knights squad. If Notre Dame approaches the game the right way mentally, it should not have an issue winning the Pinstripe Bowl to finish 9-4. Rutgers has made it clear that this is the most important bowl game in school history. It just might be the opposite for the Irish, so the mindset could go a long way in deciding the outcome.
