INSIDE MICHIGAN ATHLETICS Student-Athlete Of The Month Redshirt Junior Wrestler Chris Heald When redshirt junior wrestler Chris Heald was in his second year at Michigan, he saw fellow physical education major Craig Forys, then a fifth-year senior on the men's track and field team, win the Physical Educator Major of the Year award. The honor comes with a trip to the annual American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance national convention. "I saw all the work he put into it, and I thought, 'I could do that, too,'" Heald said. "That was one of my goals. I strived to win that award. Heald was selected by the head of the School of Kinesiology and physical education department as the Michigan representative at this year's conference, which will take place April 1-5. "I was so happy," he said. "I cried a little, called my parents, and they were happy, too. It's been an awesome experience.
