INSIDE MICHIGAN ATHLETICS the younger kids. We're teaching basic motor functions and skills, even things as simple as hopping. You have to go in depth with things like that with little kids. As you get older, you teach them different net games, like volleyball and invasion games like football and basketball. It's a cool process, seeing how kids learn and develop. I like it a lot." Heald has considered the possibility of coaching wrestling at the collegiate ranks, but he believes coaching at the high school level would fit his personality more. And that would give him a chance to coach the other sports he participated in during his time at West Bloomfield (Mich.) High School: football and track and field. "If I could coach all three sports, that would be great, but most importantly I need to coach wrestling," he said. "There's no doubt about that. "It would be a blast to coach wrestling. Our coaches feel so rewarded when we win, especially after a weekend like this one, when we beat Minnesota. I like the idea of feeling the accomplishment of seeing my team do well. I think I would like to stay in high school. College wrestling is a lot more technical. If I could coach it I would, but I think high school would be a better fit for me, and then I could potentially work somewhere in the field I am studying." — Andy Reid TheWolverine.com's Facebook Feed Michigan hired Alabama offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier for the same position at U-M. We asked fans of our Facebook page what they thought of the choice. David Watkins: "Giggidy." Dyran C. Stewart: "Now we have to hope he can recruit the type of athletes they had at Alabama. I must say, it's a good look. Go Blue!" Nick Peck: "Feels like we got Bama's table scraps." Aimee N. Jeff Barrett: "How did we get table scraps? He was Alabama's offensive coordinator and ran one hell of an offense. I think we landed a gem." Jeremy Marenger: "Nick Saban has been known to be a hard guy to work for. It's his way or the highway. At Michigan, and knowing Brady Hoke, Doug Nussmeier will probably have a little more freedom." Justin Noordyke: "The Bama offense looked pretty darn tough the last two years under him. It's a darn good hire but almost anything was better than Al Borges. Hopefully, Nussmeier is as good as advertised. He fits exactly what they want to run at Michigan."
