That means there are no Wolverines left standing in the NFL playoffs heading into Super Bowl Sunday Feb. 2. Brady completed 24 of 38 passes for 277 yards with a touchdown and rushed for a score in the Patriots' 26-16 setback to the Broncos Jan. 19, suffering only his fifth loss in 15 head-tohead matchups with quarterback Peyton Manning. It quickly became 20-3, and it was 26-10 late before Brady scored on a five-yard scramble with 3:07 remaining to make the final tally more respectable. It was all but over when the Patriots failed on a twopoint conversion attempt and then Denver recovered the onside kick. Brady and the Patriots still enjoyed another outstanding season, finishing 13-5 despite a lack of playmakers and a number of injuries. The veteran didn't put up gaudy numbers in the regular season — he completed 380 of 628 passes for 4,343 yards with 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions — but the Patriots won the AFC East and overachieved. "Certainly for the New England Patriots, we want to win every time we take the field," Brady said. "We
