  michigan basketball Basketball Notebook • Michigan remained undefeated in neutral site games at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, with its 68-65 win over Stanford Dec. 21. U-M defeated West Virginia there a year ago. • The Wolverines moved to 2-3 all time against Stanford with the victory. Michigan hadn't beaten a Stanford team in basketball since December 1946. • Michigan's 68 points against the Cardinal was the lowest point tally in a win all year so far for head coach John Beilein's squad. Sophomore Glenn Robinson III paced the Wolverines with 17 points, tying a season high. • Sophomore Nik Stauskas tied a career high with nine free throw makes against Stanford, going a perfect 9  of  9 from the charity stripe. Freshman Zak Irvin, meanwhile matched a career best with six rebounds in the victory. • Sophomore Caris LeVert tied a career high with five assists against Stanford, the third time he has reached that mark. Max Bielfeldt snagged a season-high three rebounds, with fifth-year senior Jordan Morgan notching a season-high eight points. • Michigan moved to 3-1 all time against Holy Cross with an 88-66 win Dec. 28. The teams had not met since 1988. • Robinson established a new career high in points with 23 against Holy Cross. He led four double-figures scorers for the Wolverines. • The Wolverines moved their all- time series lead against Minnesota to 87-65 with a 63-60 win at Williams Arena Jan.  2. Michigan has won five consecutive games against the Gophers, and nine of 10 overall. The game marked the third straight conference opener captured by Michigan, and the Wolverines' fifth consecutive victory at Williams Arena. • U-M also captured its first true road victory of the season at Minnesota. The Wolverines had dropped contests at Iowa State and Duke. • Michigan's 22 free throw attempts against the Gophers marked a season high. • Stauskas notched a career high in assists against the Gophers, recording no less than seven set-ups for his teammates. Robinson, meanwhile, blocked a career-high four shots, prior to leaving the game with an ankle injury that caused him to miss the final 17:24. • Michigan pushed its all-time record against Northwestern to 108-56 with a 74-51 win at Crisler Center Jan. 5. The Wolverines have won five straight versus the Wildcats, and boast a 6220 all-time record versus NU in Ann Arbor. • Morgan tied a season high with eight points against Northwestern. He teamed with redshirt junior center Jon Horford for 15 points and 16 rebounds, both of them getting extended minutes in the absence of erstwhile starter Mitch McGary. • Michigan's 71-70 win at Nebraska
