In 2010, the media voted for Ohio State's Thad Matta, while the coaches selected Purdue's Matt Painter. Stauskas was the lone unanimous selection for the first-team All-Big Ten squad, meaning that every Big Ten coach and every voting media member listed him as a first-team performer.
