FOOTBALL RECRUITING "I just go on visits as they come up, and that's pretty much how it goes. Any chance I get to visit a school, I am going to take it. I just don't have anything planned." Campbell does have some connec- tions to Michigan, even though he's no longer ticketed to be a Wolverine in a year 's time. Teammate Mason Cole, a 2014 offensive lineman, en- rolled at Michigan in January. That's both a blessing and a curse for U-M when it comes to Campbell, since he has a friend in Ann Arbor, but all of his previous visits to town had been along with Cole. Now that Cole is no longer a recruit (and more impor- tantly, no longer Florida-based), the convenience of heading to town as a duo is eliminated. East Lake High School head coach Bob Hudson understands that Camp- bell has a tall task in both sorting through his recruiting process and Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake five-star wide receiver George Campbell posted 31 recep- tions for 769 yards (24.8 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns in 2013. PHOTO BY TIM SULLIVAN
