what I thought they would be able to
do at this point in time," he said at the
team's preseason Media Day Aug. 19.
"They've learned very well. They're
good learners."
VanGorder said he adopted his in-
quisitive style in the meeting room af-
ter his first season in the NFL. In 2005,
he worked as the Jacksonville Jaguars
linebackers coach under Jack Del Rio,
