The 9th Annual All-Sports Reunion, hosted by the Virginia Athletics Foundation on Satur- day, Oct. 25, includes a tailgate around the North Carolina versus Virginia football game. Wear your UVa game-day gear and join us for the tailgate, which features all you can eat food and beverages, music and family-friendly activities like a bounce house, lawn games and face painting. All student-athlete alumni are encouraged to return to Grounds to celebrate Homecomings 2014 with former teammates, friends and family. Student-athlete alumni receive admission to the All-Sports Tailgate when they complete the online Reunion registration that includes tickets to the football game. If you already have foot- ball tickets, you can register for the tailgate sep- arately at a reduced rate. Student-athlete alumni who are VAF donors receive complimentary admission for up to two people for the football game and tailgate, or you can apply the discount to other events throughout the weekend. If you have any questions please call VAF at (434) 982-5555. All-Sports Reunion 2014 ANNE HARRINGTON JOINS THE VAF STAFF Anne Harrington joined the VAF staff as an annual giving assistant on Aug. 18. She works closely with the development team focusing on the membership and benefits program for donors at the Contributor, Sabre, Wahoo, Cavalier and Coaches Club giving levels. A Virginia native, Anne graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2007 where she received a B.S. in Kinesiology and was a four-year letter winner on the women's lacrosse team. Prior to joining the VAF team, Anne spent time coaching lacrosse abroad and on the collegiate level at Dickinson College and the University of Connecticut. She also has experience in the staffing industry and working as a recruiting consultant. Anne came to Charlottesville in 2013 to earn a master's in higher education from the Curry School of Education while working as a graduate assistant in the Life Skills office with the UVa athletics department. She received her degree in May 2014. She replaces Brennan Schmidt who accepted a teaching and coaching position with The Covenant School in Charlottesville, Va.
