and third-team All-ACC.
One of Burton's biggest assets is her power. She
has tremendous arm speed, great velocity and hits a
heavy ball. Hohenshelt said you can sit in the gym
during practice, close your eyes and "hear Jasmine's
ball." The speed with which Burton swings her arm
is so fast it allows the ball to get over the net faster
In her first season at UVa, Burton was named the ACC Women's Volleyball Freshman of the Year
after ranking third on the team with 380 kills.
