record and had them ranked 22nd in its
preseason poll. Lindy's Preseason Football
Annual placed the Nittany Lions fourth in
the Big Ten East with a 7-5 mark.
PhiWhen I predicted in mid-August
that Penn State would cult to stop this fall.
"I think everyone in the country would
like to have him as far as delivering the
ball because he puts it where you can
catch it, and he's very e>cient at what
he does as far as attacking the coverage,"
O'Leary said. "He can throw the deep
ball, the short ball. He's what a college
quarterback should look like."
