BY LOU SOMOGYI F or only the second time in the last 81 years, the 2014 Notre Dame football team began the season 3‑0 while scoring a mini‑ mum of 30 points each time. On paper, the offense didn't seem broken with its 36.3 scoring average. In reality, head coach Brian Kelly and his staff recognized it still needed plenty of fixing.
