ALL-SPORTS REUNION 2014 The 9 th Annual VAF All-Sports Reunion and UVa Homecomings were held on October 24-25 in Charlottesville. Over 700 UVa student-athlete alumni and their guests attended events and games throughout the weekend. Each year during the reunion, the Virginia Athletics Foundation honors ACC and NCAA championship teams who reach their 10-, 25- and 40-year anniversaries. The following teams were recognized during the UNC versus UVa football game as commemorative highlights were shown on Hoo Vision. These student-athlete alumni are fine representatives of the extraordinary accomplish- ments of Virginia Athletics' teams. The featured weekend highlight was the annual All-Sports Tailgate, which was held immediately following the football game. Approximately 500 attendees en- joyed tailgate fare provided by Graves Mountain Lodge, deejay entertainment by Cle Logan, corn hole, bounce house, televisions and face painting. The beautiful fall day provided a perfect atmosphere for our student-athlete alumni and their families to spend time together. Several sports hosted alumni games, open practices, receptions and gather- ings for alumni to reconnect with team members and coaches. It was exciting to see so many student-athlete alumni return to Charlottesville for this reunion. The Virginia Athletics Foundation is grateful to the student-athlete alumni who have shown their commitment to Virginia Athletics through the Cavs for Life program.
