UNDER THE DOME recovered. Matuska took a hit to the bra- chial plexus, a collection of nerves. A stress reaction in his foot has plagued fifth-year senior cornerback Cody Riggs the entire second half of the season after he first tweaked it against Navy Nov. 1. He played limited snaps against Louisville before spending the contest at USC on the sideline in a walking boot. Kelly also placed a "think" status on Riggs for the bowl game.
