Although Marshall is a long shot to end up at Notre Dame, the Irish coach- ing staff got him on campus, and that's an impressive feat. He's expected to take official visits to Florida State, Ari- zona State, LSU and Michigan. Due to proximity, he'll take unofficial visits to UCLA and USC. When he makes his decision on National Signing Day, ex- pect Marshall to end up playing close to home for the Trojans or Bruins. Per 247Sports, Marshall is the No. 6 overall recruit in the country, the No. 1 cornerback in the land and the No. 2 player in California. Kinnel, a 6-0, 205-pound recruit, is a target the Notre Dame staff is very high on. Led by defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder, defensive backs coach Kerry Cooks and defensive line coach Mike Elston, Notre Dame focused on making Kinnel feel at home during his campus visit. Although Kinnel is currently com- mitted to Michigan, there's plenty of buzz about him looking elsewhere since former head coach Brady Hoke won't return to Ann Arbor next year. Kentucky and West Virginia are two schools very much in the mix, but all signs point to Notre Dame landing the Ohio native. One source close to his All-Star Lineup Notre Dame commits and targets have traditionally earned the opportunity to play in a variety of national all-star games thanks to distinguished careers on the high school gridiron.
