York WJST.............. 1280-AM........................Youngstown, Ohio praised kicker Joey Julius throughout the spring, but the punting job appears to be up for grabs as returning starter Danny Pasquariello and Robby Liebel battle it out. "We'll do field goals to start the game," Franklin said. "We'll have it scripted out – yard lines and hashes and things like that to see how these guys are going to kick in front of the fans. They'll have to get it off in the right time, the whole deal, so it's going to be the snap, the hold and the kick. At halCime we'll do punting. I feel pretty good about our field goals. There are still some concerns and ques- tions about our punting. It's not where I think it needs to be. Our snapping and our punting, from the time until the sea- son ended until now hasn't progressed the way I think it should progress, so we've got to look at what we're doing there and make some changes." As with any spring game, the biggest unknown may just be the weather. As of this writing, Saturday's forecast called for partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 70s. If the Lions want to test their kickers under adverse conditions, that won't help. But if they want to draw a big crowd, impress some recruits and build a bit of excitement for the games that matter, it'll do nicely. side of the windshield. Parking permits for the Blue-White Game can be printed at the following link: http://bit.ly/1OenZnj. Fans who forget to print or bring a permit are asked to use their flashers to identify their intent to go to the Blue-White game and other events located around the stadium. Those who have no intention of coming to any Blue-White events are asked avoid the areas of Park Avenue between Atherton Street and I-99, Porter Road, and Fox Hollow Road from ToCrees Av- enue to Park Avenue. Fans who need to get to the Mount Nittany Medical Cen- ter or the University Park Airport are asked to stop at the nearest uniformed traffic auxiliary officer to be provided a hang tag for their rear-view mirror. This will help officers direct fans to their destination. PARKING ADVISORY Traveling from west of Beaver Stadium: Fans who ap- proach the stadium from Atherton Street on Park Avenue will be parked in areas W1 through W4. Lot W2 may be taken offline if foul weather necessitates it. Traveling from east of Beaver Sta- dium: Fans who approach the stadium from 322/I-99 bypass on Park Avenue will be parked in areas E1 through E6. Traveling from north of Beaver Sta- dium: Fans who approach the stadium from Fox Hollow Road will be parked in areas N1 and N2. Traveling from south of Beaver Sta- dium: Fans who approach the stadium from Porter Road or Dauer Road will be parked in S1-S4. CAR PARKING As with previous Blue-White Games, parking areas will be filled in sequence to reduce the foot- print of parking, to maximize parking close to the stadium, and due to limited parking staff. Efforts will be made to keep two areas from each direction loading at the same time. ADA PARKING Patrons with a state- issued ADA license plate or placard are asked to arrive via Porter Road and will be parked between parking area S1 and Curtin Road. Van accessible spaces are located in the lot closest to BJC. An ADA shuttle service is pro- vided from the Overnight RV parking lot to Gate B. Shuttle service will begin at 11 a.m. RV PARKING Due to the wet spring in the Centre Region, fans are asked to park RVs on the gravel area south of Medlar Field or in the overnight RV/RV lot north of Park Avenue. RVs arriving north on Porter Road will be directed to the lot south of Medlar Field. RVs arriv- ing on Park Avenue or Fox Hollow Road will be directed to ORV/RV lot. RVs that park in other areas will be held respon- sible for any property damage and park at their own risk. RVs are prohibited from all grass areas west of the sta- dium.
