Morgan, who is the cousin of former Irish women's basketball star Skylar Diggins, first visited South Bend in late March. The coaches told him at the time that they wanted to see more of him in coverage before making a de- cision if they would offer him a schol- arship or not. Morgan waited, but as the months passed he began to grow impatient with the process. Notre Dame associate head coach Mike Denbrock watched the safety work out May 14, but didn't offer a scholarship.
