ceiver tight end that can be split out
wide and also come in on the line to

The analysts agree, and that's why
Kmet — who put on a show at the Irish
Invasion alongside Wright — became
such a priority for the staff.
Following his performance at the
invite-only camp, Notre Dame offered
him a scholarship June 19. He returned
to campus for visits July 30 and Sept. 5,

FILM ANALYSIS
Strengths
Cole Kmet is a perfect complement to fellow
tight end commit Brock Wright … From the
Tyler Eifert/Nic Weishar school of tight end
play in that he is more of a former wide re-
ceiver with a tight end body than a pure tight
end … Can line up all over the field, and pos-
sesses the athleticism and ball skills to present
matchup problems on the outside and in the
slot … His concentration, focus and ability to
make plays in traffic are good fits for the Notre
Dame offense.
Areas For Improvement
Although he shows good effort in the run
game — even as an attached player — he
must continue building up his frame and add-
ing more strength … Tends to round off his
routes, something he must sharpen up as he
develops.
