n the past 11 months, Notre Dame
head coach Brian Kelly has been in
the center of two two-point storms.
Against Northwestern last No-
vember when Notre Dame scored a
touchdown to take a 40-29 lead, he inex-
plicably opted to go for two instead of
kicking the extra point. The point after
try would have made it 41-29 — requir-
ing two touchdowns by the Wildcats to
win.
