In the first minute of the fourth quarter, Notre Dame tied the game at 31 on a six-yard Prosise touchdown run. The drive went 90 yards in nine plays after the previous four posses- sions totaled 16 yards. After a USC punt, Notre Dame fol- lowed its 90-yard touchdown drive with one of 91 yards, which culmi- nated with a 10-yard touchdown re- ception by junior wide receiver Corey Robinson, his first of the season. After senior cornerback KeiVarae Russell's interception — his first on the season — Notre Dame put USC away with a 32-yard Justin Yoon field goal. "That was real huge," Russell said. "You saw what it did. It brought the momentum back to our side. I play well against SC every time I play them. I wasn't in the assault last year when we played them [a 49-14 Trojan triumph], but the two previous years I always made a play against SC. "It was the fourth quarter and the ball went up, and I knew I had to make a play." USC shredded Notre Dame's de- fense most of the evening.
