PSU The series is tied, 14-14-1. MOST RECENT MEETING Penn State fell to No. 10 MSU on Senior Day in Beaver Stadium as Spartan running back Jeremy Langford ran for 118 yards on 30 carries and two touchdowns, giving his team the 34-10 win on Nov. 29, 2014. GOOD NEWS With a 41-10 record, the Spartans' 2015 senior class is one win away from tying the most victories of any other graduating class in school history. BAD NEWS Michigan State has ranked No. 1 in the Big Ten in rushing defense the past four seasons, but this year it ranks No. 5, allowing 117.8 yards per game. DID YOU KNOW? Michigan State has seven players on its 2015 roster who are from Pennsylvania, including three starters and backup quarterback Damion Terry (Erie) who ran for 25 yards last week against Ohio State. | FORWARD SPRINT Dantonio, who has now won 10 games in five dif- ferent seasons, called Hackenberg "an outstand- ing quarterback" whom his defense must prepare for. Photo by Steve Manuel ALL OR NOTHING PSU the only obstacle standing between Sparty and Big Ten title shot So, get this. In Michigan State's two most important wins – 17-14 over Ohio State last weekend and 27-23 against Michigan in October, games that have helped li* Sparty back into con- tention for the national playo) – not once did it have a lead during regulation. With a go-ahead kick against the Buckeyes and the notorious punt-block-and- return for a touchdown against the Wolver- ines, MSU overtook the lead, earning those dramatic, season-highlight victories just as the clock was expiring. "We just keep playing," head coach Mark Dantonio said, ex- plaining his team's penchant for clutch play at the end of the fourth quarter. "The game is not ever over until it's done. At the end of the day we can go through all the scenarios, but there is a win on this side and there is a loss on the other."
