GOOD FINISH
Fifteen men's and women's swimming and diving
fourth-years capped the final home meet of their ca-
reers by leading the team in a rendition of "The Good
Old Song" after defeating Notre Dame at the Aquatic
and Fitness Center in Charlottesville Jan. 8-9.
The then-No. 1 women — led by fourth-years Court-
ney Bartholomew, Hanne Borgersen, Becca Corbett,
Haley Durmer, Samantha James, Natalie Martin and
Katie Warburg — hammered the Irish 243-105. Mean-
while, the then-No. 21 men — led by fourth-years Carl
Buergler, Rodney Fentress, Eric Holden, Yannick Kaeser,
Mattheus Martini, Jordan Sacks, Colby Shinholser and
Greg Stoffa — edged Notre Dame 182.5-170.5.
"First and foremost, I want to acknowledge our awe-
some fourth-year class," UVA head coach Augie Busch
said of the group that was honored Jan. 9. "They mean
so much to our program and it was great to see them
win their last home meet."
