Mission Statement The Virginia Athletics Foundation, through its fundraising efforts, strives to support a preeminent intercollegiate athletics program at the University of Virginia by providing student-athletes the opportunity to achieve academic and athletic excellence. As we turn the page to 2016 and continue our All In For Excellence fundraising initiative, it is important for each of us to remember who the ultimate beneficiaries of this support are – our 650 student-athletes and the coaching staffs who work with them on a daily basis. This issue of the Cavalier Corner highlights their accomplishments in 2015 and we will continue to share their success stories through- out the year. These successes would not be possible without your generosity. Thank you for your help and support in 2015. Please join us again in 2016 as we continue the tradition of Uncompromised Excellence for Virginia athletics. Best regards, Dirk P. Katstra Executive Director
