my home for the next four years and there was nowhere
else I wanted to be.
What I like the most about swimming: My team-
mates. They make every practice bearable. I love being
around a group of people that are motivated.
The highlight of my athletic career: The highlight
has been being part of eight consecutive ACC champi-
onships and to watch this program go from 21st in the
nation to number one. It's been very exciting to see the
program grow.
The most important thing I've learned from swim-
ming: Perseverance. You're not always going to hit your
goal times. You have to persist and keep aiming high
all the time.
My dream vacation would be: A wonderful beach
vacation would be my dream.
My post-college ambition is: To find something I
would love to do and that I'm passionate about and that
would influence other people.
