Box 1007 Notre Dame, IN 46556 or e-mail to: lsomogyi@blueandgold.com Head coach Brian Kelly modeled the 2016 edition of The Shirt at its unveiling April 15. The 28th incarnation is royal blue and includes a tribute to the late Father Ted Hesburgh. The Fr. Hesburgh quote "Rise Above Ourselves" appears on the back design, along with banners for each year Notre Dame won a national championship. PHOTOS BY JOE RAYMOND Scipiospnks: Kizer takes what the line gives him, and is fast enough to pull away in the open field. He isn't a good runner on plays like the 2-point conversion against Clemson. He narrows his base and doesn't get push. If that has to be a part of our offense then Zaire will need to play in my opinion. Sjb75: Both QB's are too talented to wear a visor and never play except in mop-up duty. Brian Kelly has a tough decision. JPjr: They need a run emphasis in the red zone because neither QB possesses the accuracy needed to be effective, and the scheme seems devoid of jet passes or other plays that require space or time to develop.
