I reached this mark I reflected back to the growth of the Foundation since April 1996 when I was named to this position. The growth is evident throughout the athletics department in the success of our programs, the facilities that have been built or renovated and the many student-athletes who have graduated and be- come donors as well. I thought I would share a few statistics that I recently shared with our Board of Trustees at our May meeting. In 1996, our Annual Fund total was $4.7 million and today our goal is $18.3 million. The donor base is almost twice as large as it was 20 years ago. Our scholarship endowment was $10.3 million and today it is close to $70 million. While it is impossible to predict the future growth of our fundraising efforts, it is certain that our donors have been generous for a long period of time. This kind of loyal support is what lays the foundation for a suc- cessful athletics program and signifies that our donor base is All In For Excellence.
