After not playing much as a freshman for the Hampden-Sydney basketball team, Cam Collins fig-
ured it was time to give another sport a try.
Looks like he made a good choice.
Since transferring to Virginia in August 2014, Collins has excelled in the decathlon for head coach
Bryan Fetzer's squad. Last season, the Calhoun, Ga., native posted a high of 6,485 points, which ranked
fifth among first-years in UVA history.
