or two days, John Brown could
not sleep.
Sure, the father of Notre
Dame sophomore wide re-
ceiver Equanimeous St. Brown had
achieved plenty of personal success
in his long career as a professional
body builder in the 1980s. But every
time he won a competition, he had to
pretend he was excited.
Seeing his oldest son perform like
he did in the 2016 season opener at
Texas — a game in which Equanime-
ous caught five passes for 75 yards
and two touchdowns — well, that
was a different story.
Wideout Equanimeous St. Brown has quickly stepped
into a key role for the Irish as a sophomore
