The Nittany Lions ran Maryland ragged, winning 38-14 and looking not entirely unlike one of those vintage Penn State teams that so many fans have been yearning to see again. Saquon Barkley ran for a career-high 202 yards, and the Lions gained 372 yards rushing as a team, turning the tables on a Maryland squad that had pounded Purdue in much the same manner a week earlier.
