Scored 72 points in a game her senior year of high school. According to coach Kim Barnes Arico, the guard will contribute right away. 2 Siera Thompson G 5-7 Sr. Thompson will provide senior leadership for the team. She is the best defender for the Wolverines and will be the main ball distributor. 3 Katelynn Flaherty G 5-7 Jr. Has led the team in scoring the last two seasons. One of the most dangerous shooters in the country, she will draw the opponent's best defender. 5 Kayla Robbins G/F 6-1 Fr. May see some time off the bench, and has the size to be a versatile player for Michi- gan in the future. 10 Nicole Munger G 5-11 So. Played 12.2 minutes per game as a freshman, has good shooting abilities and will look to make her game more multi-dimensional this season. 11 Jillian Dunston G/F 5-11 Jr. One of the best defenders and rebounders on the team, she will need to develop her game offensively to see increased playing time in her third year. 14 Akienreh Johnson G 6-0 Fr. All freshmen have progressed well according to Barnes Arico, but the backcourt is crowded for the Wolverines, and she may not see the court much. 20 Danielle Williams G 5-9 Sr. Came on strong during the WNIT. Williams will look to extend that play into the new season. 21 Sam Trammel F 6-1 So. Didn't see much playing time as a freshman, but could help fill the gap left by the loss of Kelsey Mitchell to graduation. 22 KeAsja Peace F 6-3 Fr. Brings size Michigan was lacking last year and could see the court to help with rebounding. 23 Maria Backman G 6-1 Jr. The graduation of Madison Ristovski, opens up an opportunity for Back- man. 30 Hallie Thome C 6-5 So. After an outstanding freshman year in which she scored 505 points Thome will look to take the next step, improving her defense and her play out of the double team. 32 Abby Cole F/C 6-5 R-Jr. Cole will join the team following the volleyball season. Was a good basketball player in high school and has the height to create matchup problems. 34 Boogie Brozoski G 5-6 So. Brings energy to the court for the Wolverines but will have to stay out of foul trouble to make an impact this season. Senior guard Siera Thompson set the school record for assists in a season last year with 178; she was also the Wolverines' best defender a year ago. PHOTO BY PER KJELDSEN
